Causes of Chronic pelvic pain
April 02, 2022Chronic pelvic discomfort can be caused by a number of different diseases and situations. The most common causes of pelvic discomfort are related to the reproductive, digestive, or urinary systems. Another cause of pelvic discomfort is a problem with the muscles and connective tissue ligaments. Any other medical problem might cause chronic pelvic pain; in such cases, treating the underlying medical condition can help alleviate the pelvic discomfort.
In other cases, a specific cause of chronic pelvic discomfort cannot be identified. In such circumstances, decreasing pelvic pain becomes the therapy goal.
Causes for Chronic pelvic pain can be any of the following –

Many of these diseases or conditions have something to do with the uterus, vagina, or lower abdomen.
